For the past two years, the Stonewall Chamber has held a Christmas Food & Toy Drive for the Stonewall Community. It was absolutely amazing to watch our community come together to make this event successful. We gave out 95 meal packs and toy bundles. Each family received a ham or turkey, or both. Families also received potatoes, eggs, milk, bread, spices, canned goods, snacks, a case of water, a toy for each child, a fleece pullover, hygiene kits, and the  elderly received a blanket from the quilting group at Trinity Lutheran Church,as well as, toasters and heaters.

This year we plan to help 100 families in our area and need your help to make this happen. We will be handing out food/toy packs Thursday December 22nd. If you are in need, or know someone that is, please call Arin Smith at 830.456.9431 or Laura Weinheimer at 512.971.9097. We are accepting new toys in their package, but not wrapped. Also, new coats, fleece pull ons, dress shirts, and beauty/bath hygiene kits. Drop off boxes will be set up the week after Thanksgiving at Weinheimer & Son, St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Texas Heritage Vineyard, and Mane Attraction. On Thursday December 8th, the chamber is hosting a Thirsty Thursday with many wineries, caterers, and local shops at Los Cazadores. We ask that you please bring a toy donation, new and UN-wrapped or a new warm outfit for a child. For each donation at Los Cazadores you will be entered into a drawing for a $250 gift card to Los Cazadores. Cash and check donations are greatly appreciated too.

This is where we really need your help – 100% of your cash and check donations go to the purchase of food, toys, & clothing for this event. Checks may be mailed to the chamber.
